HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN OPEN?
13 years. But we have decades of experience before starting our own business.
DO YOU BUY JEWELRY?
Yes, we buy gold, silver, platinum, diamonds and watches. You must be at least 25 years old and have a valid government issued ID. The amount we pay varies daily based on the precious metal market and other factors. We recommend setting up an appointment by calling (845)255-5872 or here, you can also stop by if you’re in town.
DO YOU FIX JEWELRY ON LOCATION?
Yes, Our repairs are done in our open workshop on Main Street in New Paltz, NY where you can see us at work.
CAN YOU FIX MY JEWELRY WHILE I WAIT?
We do have a same day option for most repairs for an additional fee.
DO YOU REPAIR WATCHES?
We can replace your watch battery or band for pickup the next day. Any other more intricate repairs will be performed by our master watch maker and takes several weeks.
CAN YOU DIP MY WHITE GOLD JEWELRY?
Yes, we can polish, and rhodium plate your gold jewelry to make it bright white again.
HOW LONG WILL MY REPAIR TAKE?
Depending on how busy our shop is at the time, but typically around 5-10 days.
DO YOU MAKE CUSTOM JEWELRY?
Yes! We make about 4,000 custom pieces a year.
WHAT IS THE CUSTOM PROCESS?
We start with a conversation in-store or virtually. You can bring inspiration photos, heirloom pieces to redesign, or simply an idea. We’ll discuss budget, timeline, gemstones, and overall style. Together we create a detailed design. This may include sketches or a CAD (computer-aided design) rendering so you can see the piece before it’s made. If your design includes diamonds or gemstones, we source options that match your preferences for shape, size, quality, and budget. If you’re using your own stone, we carefully evaluate it before setting. Once the design is approved, we begin production. Your piece is cast, assembled, set, and finished with attention to every detail. Most custom pieces take approximately 4–8 weeks from approval to completion. When it’s ready, we’ll contact you for pickup and a final fitting if needed.
Throughout the process, we guide you step by step so you feel confident and excited, never overwhelmed.

WHAT IS THE TIME FRAME FOR CUSTOM JEWELRY?
Usually between 4 and 8 weeks.
DO YOU MAKE NON DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RINGS?
We do make alternative engagement rings. While diamonds are recommended because of their hardness, there are other gemstones that are suitable for everyday wear, such as sapphire.
DO YOU SELL ESTATE JEWELRY?
We do have a beautiful selection of vintage and estate pieces that we have fully restored to their original glory!
I KNOW YOU MAKE JEWELRY; DO YOU SELL FINISHED JEWELRY TOO?
Yes, we sell jewelry made and designed in house as well as the work of other artists from around the world.
IS YOUR JEWELRY EVER ON SALE?

HOW DO I KEEP MY JEWELRY CLEAN?
Feel free to stop by and we would be happy to clean it for you, we also sell jewelry cleaner to be used at home. Its best to take jewelry off when showering, before going in the pool, cooking, gardening, etc. A very soft toothbrush and Windex is a good at home way to clean your jewelry. Keep in mind some gemstones are more delicate and should be professionaly cleaned.
DO YOU SELL THINGS FOR MEN OR CHILDREN?
We do. We have jewelry for men such as rings, necklaces, bracelets and cufflinks, as well as money clips ad pocketknives. We have children's bracelets and pendants.
DO YOU SELL WATCHES?
We carry Seiko, Obaku and a few refurbished vintage watches.
DO YOU SELL ANYTHING OTHER THAN JEWELRY?
We also carry pocketknives, money clips and waiters knives made with fossils, dinosaur bone, gemstone inlay and Damascus steel.
WILL YOU TELL ME HOW MUCH MY STUFF IS WORTH?
We are happy to test and weigh to make an offer to buy, we also do full written appraisals for insurance purposes on premises, we can also do appraisals on your pieces while they are being repaired. Any piece purchased from us for over $1000 comes with a free appraisal if you ask.
DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
An appointment in not necessary however for custom design or large estate purchases we do advise you make an appointment to guarantee we have time set aside to work with you.
IS THERE A FEE FOR AN APPOINTMENT/CHARGE FOR DESIGN?
No there is no fee or obligation for an appointment, we do charge a fee for design work, which is applied to the final price of the custom piece.
